From Residential to International

ATEK serves clients that range from local contractors to international entities of the United States government. We have the breadth of understanding to make your project shine.

Local Contractors

ATEK Distribution worked with the University of Minnesota to provide critical infrastructure for a systems upgrade. The upgrade increased capacity to provide power to 3 new buildings that the university constructed. ATEK provided 15kV medium voltage, vault-mounted SF6 gas switchgear to build out necessary upgrades. The project was part of a larger remodeling project.

Municipalities, Universities, Schools & Hospitals (MUSH)

ATEK and its partner network have performed numerous installations on buildings ranging from homes to utility-scale projects.

City governments are always looking for competitive advantage when it comes to budgeting. ATEK knows how to get product onsite to any location so your project gets completed on budget and on time. Some of the entities we have experience with include:

Hospitals

Nursing facilities

Schools and universities

Commercial, Institutional & Government (CIG)

ATEK Distribution provided lighting, load centers, panelboards, and miscellaneous electrical materials to support the new construction of state-of-the-art senior living facilities in Ladd, Newton, and Henry, Illinois. These HUD-funded locations were part of a funding initiative by Illinois to increase services in smaller municipalities. Working with a local minority contractor, ATEK got all materials delivered on time and in place.

International

The United States State Department created a project to modernize and upgrade lighting at the American Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. ATEK Distribution provided all of the LED lighting for the UNISON-sourced project. The project resulted in significantly increased energy savings with lower maintenance overhead.

ATEK understands that running a smaller contractor business is difficult enough without unforeseen factors. But during the past several years, contractors have faced challenges in their supply chains and other areas that simply didn’t exist before. ATEK also understands that these small businesses give opportunities to families and communities that larger enterprises just can’t. We are committed to helping those businesses thrive and sustain local economies across the nation.
